What do I do if my furniture arrives damaged?
Contact us immediately by phone or email; explain damage and we will handle immediately to your satisfaction
How do I finish my furniture?
- A good oil based deck sealer with UV protection is the best and the easiest to use. You can spray, brush, or rub on. At least two coats are necessary. The first coat you want to flood on. If you use a sprayer (HVLP or Pressure) you want to follow with a brush to evenly distribute. Wipe off any excess after 10-15 minutes. Lightly sand between coats with 220 grit sandpaper or rub with 0000 steel wool.
Each spring you want to lightly sand/steel wool and apply one additional coat.
- Oil/Water Based Stain: Your cedar chair can be stained any color utilizing a good brand of oil or water based stain; paint on, wipe off; maintain as needed.
- Paint: to paint cedar you must first utilize an acrylic water based primer followed by a water based acrylic enamel top coat; if you do not use a primer, the cedar will always “bleed through”” your top coat.
What will happen if I don’t put any finish on my chair?
Over time your chair will change to a silver/gray color.

Do you make other furniture?
Yes. The outdoor line is my most complete line, but I have been commissioned to produce custom pieces as well.

Can I order furniture made from something other than cedar?
Sure. Every piece is handmade after the order is made. If you want a different species of wood, just send an email and we will give you a quote.
I need a taller chair, do you have different sizes?
Every piece is handmade. If you find you need the chairs or tables to be taller or smaller, just let us know when you order. If you aren't sure, we will take some measurements. We can make it just right for you.
